THE DARK
"THE DARK SERIES" is my personal journey into the depths of the human mind—a visual manifestation of the struggles with mental health, depression, and surviving the darkest thoughts. This series is not a soft, diluted interpretation, but an unapologetic, raw reflection of my own experiences and battles. Through each image, I aim to convey the suffocating weight of depression, the isolation of mental illness, and the relentless internal noise that comes with suicidal ideation. The work is both deeply disturbing and oddly comforting for me—because it represents the ways I’ve learned to cope. It's my way of giving the world a lens into what it’s like to exist in that mental space—where the shadows are real, and the mind is a battlefield. "THE DARK" uses symbolic elements, stark contrasts, and haunting imagery to evoke the overwhelming feelings that come with mental health struggles. I want people to see what it's like to live inside the mind of someone who fights this battle daily. It’s my story, but it’s also a reflection of the many silent battles that people fight—stories that deserve to be seen, understood, and felt. This isn’t just art to me. It’s a conversation about survival, about coping in the face of unimaginable darkness, and about the strength it takes to live through the dark.
